What We Do

We create digital photographic images and evidence of property, and store the encrypted images in a private cloud-based storage locker. We give the locker to the customer and access to up to 3 others that the customer designates. We also provide authentic original copies if needed for legal purposes. Our service is fast, affordable and confidential.

When scheduling, note special instructions, if any, and provide the names and emails of anyone else you want to receive access to your locker. Submit the form and booking deposit, and we will send an emailed confirmation, receipt and notes about preparing for your future-proofing appointment.

2. Our team will arrive to create digital still images and videos of the property. The cost of our service is based on team's time spent at the property site. A team of 2 needs 1.5 - 2 hours to complete a mid-sized home, billed at a rate of $195 per hour. We can send 1 person to small or vacant properties for $100/hour, which is our minimum and usually enough time to finish.

3. You will receive an invoice from our bank that includes a link to pay the bank securely without giving us your financial data. We do not collect or store our customers' payment information.

4. We will organise your images into folders for stills (.jpg) and videos (.mp4), prepare a summary report of the results of your future-proofing session, and send you a link to a private 5GB locker at Sync.com that contains all of your images and the report, with no renewal fees required. When you change the password on the locker, it is private to you and you can also upload important documents, family photos, receipts and more.

Option (free): The Customer can give full or limited access (view only, no download) to others, such as their insurance agent when seeking quotes or advice about policies and special coverage; their estate attorneys; heirs or executors as 'backup'.

Option (fee): If the Customer or anyone with legal authority (such as a Court of Law) needs to see copies of images that must be certified as authentic, we can provide it for a nominal handling fee.

Our Prices

Our fees are based on how long our team works at your property, with a minimum cost of $100. Our typical 2-person team can complete an average residential property in 1.5 - 2 hours, at $195 per hour. We send additional camera operators for larger assignments, and offer discounts for multiple properties, repeat customers, and Senior citizens.

We charge a flat hourly rate that is based on the number of camera operators dispatched to your property. Our goal is to film the entire property in under 4 hours, and most ‘typical’ homes can be completed in under 2 hours by a 2-person team. We would send extra camera operators to large properties, or with outbuildings or significant collections. There are no additional fees for our service and long-term storage, except for a travel fee for assignments that are more than 35 miles from our current team locations in Fort Collins, Colorado and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Teams will be hired and trained to serve other locations as needed. If you need further clarification, call us to discuss your property and we’ll provide a written price guarantee. We offer multi-property discounts, and a 5% discount to Seniors 60 and above.

Hourly Rates for Services are:

1 Camera Operator: $100 per hour

2 Camera Operators: $195 per hour

Add $80 per hour for each additional Camera Operator.

Our streamlined process is designed to be as fast, safe, affordable and convenient as possible, while always protecting your privacy. Our entire staff is fully insured, and will work quickly to produce abundant digital images and videos.

On the day and time of your appointment, our team will come to your property to create hundreds or thousands of high-resolution digital still photos and several dozen 4K videos of the interior layout and materials. They will use company-owned and programmed cameras that encrypt images as they are taken and transmit them to a secure and private cloud storage ‘locker’ at Sync.com. Our images are intended to record the contents, condition, construction materials and upgrades, including identifying information such as serial numbers, labels and emblems that might be helpful if filing a police report or insurance claim. Your invoice will be calculated based on the timestamp of the first and last images the team takes at your property.

Your invoice will be sent to your email from our bank, and you can pay directly by using their secure payment program. We will never request or store your financial payment information.

You will receive an email that includes a link to the private cloud locker where your images will safely reside, long term, for free. You can sign in using your email and a temporary password we provide in a second email. Change the password to make the locker your own. If you requested access for others, they will receive unique access sign-in credentials, and you can indicate what rights you want them to have: View Only, or View and Download. You can cancel their access at any time, and the images and videos in your locker cannot be edited, altered or deleted by any party. The systems at Sync.com track and log all activities in your locker.

You have unlimited access to your images in your storage locker 24/7 at no additional cost. If you need original copies that are authenticated and certified for a legal proceeding, Future Proof of Property, as creators of your images, can provide it for a minimal fee.

The images we take are not intended for the marketing of your property, and will not be staged, edited, altered or improved in any way. Our goal is to shoot in high resolution, to maintain good focus and lighting, and to capture photos of all property visible at the time of our appointment. We make no representations as to value or authenticity of any items.

The Importance of Backups

In the eventuality that you are not able to prepare and submit a timely insurance claim after a tragedy, consider giving acces to your property image locker to others, such as family members, heirs, estate executors or your insurance agent.

Allowing others to have access to your property image locker is easy to set up, monitor, control and cancel. If you designate others as your ’back-ups’, we will give them unique sign-in credentials and the permissions you want them to have, either “View Only” or “View and Download”. Your designees do not need to download or store your ‘back-ups’; they can just sign in to view them in your secured locker. You can rescind their access at any time.
